Role Overview
We’re looking for a Product Management & Business Development leader who will partner closely with the technical founding team to shape GreenSand AI’s market direction, customer strategy, and product roadmap.
This person will act as the bridge between technology, customers, and the market — leading go-to-market strategy, validating customer needs, building strategic partnerships, and guiding the product’s evolution.
This role may transition to CoFounder and/or CEO position, leading the company across all functions including fundraising, team building, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
Translate customer insights and market trends into clear product requirements and roadmap priorities.
Work closely with engineering to ensure product-market alignment.
Lead product launches and drive adoption and retention metrics.
Prioritize features and workflows based on impact, feasibility, and differentiation.
Create feedback loops between users, engineering, and design.
Business Development & Strategy
Define and execute GreenSand AI’s go-to-market and commercialization strategy.
Identify, develop, and close strategic partnerships and early customer relationships.
Lead customer discovery and engagement — from first conversations to pilots and contracts.
Represent GreenSand AI in investor, partner, and industry meetings.
Develop pricing, positioning, and value proposition frameworks.
Leadership & Company Building
Serve as a strategic partner to the founding team, helping guide company vision, values, and operating rhythm.
Recruit early hires and advisors in business development, marketing, and customer success.
Prepare and deliver investor materials — pitch decks, financial models, and strategic narratives.
Develop operational systems for scaling (sales pipeline, CRM, metrics).
Take increasing leadership responsibility with the goal of possibly transitioning to the CoFounder and/or CEO position upon mutual agreement and board approval.
Ideal Background
5–10+ years experience in business development, product management, or strategy in technology startups or SaaS companies.
Desire/motivation/hunger to build an AI company from 0 → 1. Nice to have: a proven success in early-stage environments.
Strong understanding of AI/ML, SaaS, or enterprise software markets.
Excellent communicator — comfortable engaging customers, investors, and technical teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in ambiguity, bias for action, and creative problem solving.
Experience raising capital or working closely with investors is a plus.
Technical fluency is a bonus (you don’t need to code, but you can talk to engineers).

As a Founding Engineer, you’ll work directly with the founders, play a pivotal role in defining our technology, and have significant ownership of the product, architecture, and culture from the ground up. You will not only build, but will also participate in the decision making of what to build. This is an opportunity for exceptional software engineers who want to build robust AI systems/platform/applications from 0 -> 1, and have an appetite for some risk.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and scale core AI-driven systems and products.
Collaborate with the founding team on product strategy and technical direction.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on APIs and end-to-end applications.
Establish engineering best practices, including testing, deployment, and CI/CD.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies into our stack.
Wear multiple hats: full-stack engineering, infrastructure, ML engineering, and occasional customer-facing problem-solving.
Help recruit and mentor early team members as we grow.
What We’re Looking For
~5 years of professional software engineering experience (startup experience a plus).
Strong background in Python and modern backend development.
Experience building and shipping production-grade software (ideally involving AI/ML systems).
Comfortable across the stack (backend, cloud infrastructure, APIs, some frontend if needed).
Experience in using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) extensively.
Deep curiosity and hands-on experience with LLMs and/or agent frameworks.
Ability to thrive in uncertainty and take ownership.
Capable of architecting and implementing complex software systems with optimal efficiency.
A collaborative mindset and good communication skills.
Nice to Have
Prior startup or small-team experience.
Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
Experience with DevOps.
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).

Who you are
CS major.
Experience/interest in the latest AI technologies (e.g. LLMs, Agents, RAG, MCP, and Prompt Engineering).
Exceptional core CS skills related to data structures, algorithms, and programming.
Expertise in one or more general-purpose object-oriented programming languages such as: React, Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, Rust, etc.
Experience in at least one of the major cloud providers such as: AWS, GCP, Azure, etc., preferably in GCP.
Experience in one of the major SQL/non-SQL DBs.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
Experience/interest in either frontend development, backend development, or applied AI.
Team player, self-motivated, and independent.
What will you be doing
Do some research and develop proof of concepts for frontend and backend AI systems through mentorship from senior engineers, self-learning, and exposure to real use cases and tools.
